Doin my thing.

I have caught a lot of crap over some of my usage with Ai. It’s funny. Because about 6 years ago I had a supposed friend mock my photography at a pivotal point of my shooting. Constantly sending film emulation filters and ads for such on my socials and making jokes. It was casual at first. But my sense of humor joking back is usually crude, rude, and bottom of the barrel. So that ended before it started. Became a block me anyway they could and curse the day they chatted and met me haha…

Fast forward to a good 3 to 4 years of solid shooting. Meeting a shit ton of folks from all over. In some cases introducing people too others I knew. All the while just a goal of shooting to make a killer at first magazine issue style printed thing that would in fact be my first photo book. All choppers and the folks that ride em from the old timers I know to the younger guys. Just documenting and sharing the culture the work that goes thru their heads and into their hands to create what they ride. And I def got some amazing shots of amazing folks. Did some killer shooting at some garage gatherings of everyone just vibing and having a good time.

So shooting digital which almost everyone does. Film shooters have scans or digital shots of thier stuff to post. We use Lightroom or Photoshop. Both programs that allot a tweak here and there to fix a photo. Some over do it. It’s on the shooter and what they like.

This being said EVERY computer tablet and phone based program now a days is running Ai thru it in some form. You can look at it as a sort of modern program language. That at a certain point can program itself. I mess with it to understand how it works and what it is doing to my photos as I use the software. It became an addicting thing at one point to silence boredom and stop scrolling on my phone. A few bikes I shot in the begining in Dave Mann scenes. Some cool stuff shooting my hot wheels cars. And at some point I was manipulating some of my bike photos to have fun.

I NEVER CLAIMED TO BE AN ARTIST. WHAT I DO CAN BE CALLED THAT BY SOME IN A FEW CASES BUT I AM NOT. nor will I ever claim I am. But I can def do some sick shit.

I made my own cover for my zine. Which I’m super proud of. A simple chopper shot. And mod the shit out of the human so it isn’t anyone. ( it’s a New Yorker for those in NJ that wonder were the base image came from. ). I have been messing with my own stuff and coming up with ideas so that as I do my zines I can include small things and I can do most everything myself. DIY. I’d work with an artist if they wanted to in future issues I’d def like to get one out every 3 months or 6 months depending on how they sell.

Those that have bought I totally appreciate the support. Anyone that ordered or bought in the first 30, when the next one goes live you get a special edition from the norm as a thank you.. yes next one will have a lot more pages and some collab work is in talks with some writers and maybe another photog. We shall see.

Point is I do what I do with my Ai shit and that’s it. Two and a half months ago I finished something I was working on and made enough to buy a really nice 35mm 1.2 lens cash. Had a lil left over for some beers and a steak to. This past week iI did more work and made enough to pick up the new iPad I’m using. So im gonna keep doin me. My buyers are my own business. And if you don’t like this stuff that’s cool. But it isn’t something to hate me for. Or something to think I’m gonna use it to manipulate photos of people. I am a grown up and when I use my camera there are responsibilities and ethics involved.

Below are a few examples of what I actually do to make money with this shit. And it doesn’t mean I’ll make more. Just got lucky. Some are of people I generated from scratch they were picked up for skins ( a 2d rendering that will be applied to a 3d computer model to make a character for a game). I started making my own chicks to advert my zine to figured why not then I don’t have to pay anyone and it saves on shooting and traveling. But if anyone wants to model dm or email me we can discuss my rates or collab depending on the situation.

These 2 were slightly different than the finished characters but not so close that I can’t post my own variation. Once sold off. The buyer has all rights and use. So if you have a product you want to try and set up something for sales or socials and want your own goth girl or boy model and the application of the products in the scene I’m for hire for that as well.
